About the Artist

Hello! I'm so happy you're here. 

I'm Lyna, the artist behind By Lyna Lim, which is a Melbourne based brand born from my life long dream to follow my creative passion.

From a young age, I always had colouring pencils, markers, glue sticks, scissors, you name it, in my hands ready to craft, design, illustrate and just create all sorts of things. It was a fun and exciting way of expression.

Years later, nothing has changed. Illustrating still takes me to my happy place where I can express my creativity and now I'm excited to share it with you, and bring joy, inspiration and conversation with my art.

Finding inspiration anywhere and everywhere, I cultivate elements together to build my creations into what you see. Each piece is hand illustrated with hours and hours of patience and addictive creativity. The signature lines and shapes forming a distinctive pattern has been present from the start with the first pieces hanging on the walls of the home I share with my husband.

The By Lyna Lim brand not only represents a life long dream to pursue my creative passion but by extension the illustrations embody my authentic, considered and inspired self-expression and values.
